The Tri-Fold's unique patented design allows an incredible thirteen different positions, including 8 lounge positions and 4 loveseat positions. The back angle can be set to any of four positions and the foot-rest has swing down legs so that it can be used in the foot-up or foot-down position, additionally the foot-rest section folds under out of the way when not in use. But that's not all, the Tri-Fold also quickly and easily converts to a full size 10 inch high platform bed by simply folding the back down flat and raising the foot-rest. Our solid hardwood futon frames are the finest quality unfinished frames on the market. Unlike most pine frames we kiln dry our hardwood to 8% moisture content and plane the wood on 4 sides which yields a smooth clean surface with rounded edges. It looks great!! It's unique shape makes it a versatile and interesting addition to any room. It allows you to have a futon without the limitations of a normal "sofa-shaped" futon. With the mattress in place the frame is virtually invisible so will blend into the decor of any room. It is easy to change the configuration of the futon from lounger to sofa- one person can do it easily. With my metal futon frame I have to have someone assist me when I open or close it. I am really glad that I purchased this product and now it is "my place" in the family room. (Wellll, I do have to share with my three little dogs!! My son had no trouble putting it together and it folds easily. I like the fact that it is made of wood and not springs that eventually sag and are sharp. The only drawback is it is lower to the floor than most beds so anything that is too high won't slide under it. It is inexpensive but not cheap, by that I mean the quality is very good and it's made well. Arrived quickly too. I feel very comfortable recommending the frame. |
