It is very easy to assemble and it looks very nice. I don't particularly care for the cheap manufacturing or the plastic screws that hold the glass plates in place though. Overall however, if you buy this tower, you should not be dissapointed. It has a very nice elegant simplicity to its design, and since every shelf is open ended in back, wiring your tenent components is a real breeze. The posts are hollow, but the right one has openings to allow for cosmetic cable management. I don't use it however because that would require using longer cables. Still, I paid about $200.00 for mine and I am quite happy with the purchase. Each shelf holds about 50 lbs according to the assembly instructions. The second one came in one piece. This product looks great once it's together. Used it for holding a few home theater pieces but now it's reserved for holding pictures and such. Basically I don't trust my equipment to be held by the clamps for the glass. They are made up of some cheap alloy that will easily break, the plastic screws used to hold the glass are also a joke, metal is not an option but a stronger plastic is. Usually Bell'O makes great furniture but I honestly can't recommend this for holding anything but light weight products. Also the cable management ports are only on one side so please take that into account if looking to purchase this unit. I like how simple the whole design is and at the same time how elegant it looks. The CMS Cable Management System that the manufacturer talks about doesn't completely hide the wires in the sense that you could still see the wires that connect to the back of all the equipment but it does a good job of hiding the wires when viewed from a far off distance or when viewed sitting on the couch. One drawback I found out was that the holes that allow the wiring to run between the shelves(hidden) is only found on the left side stand. Would be nice to have it on both the side stands to be more flexible. And also the plastic screws that hold the glass shelves don't seem to do a good job in holding them tight but should be OK as long as you don't run into them or mess around with it often.
