I was very, very, very pleased with the suction. I needed a lightweight full-size vacuum, because we have two dogs, a cat, and an almost-crawling baby. Our 26 pounder just wasn't efficient enough for me anymore. Well, sad news is, two days after receiving it, the hose came out from the attachment clip as I neared the top of the stairs. More importantly, it's the part that connects the hose to the vacuum head, making it completely unusable. I'm not sure if this is poor design, or just really bad glue. I was pretty mad that I had to return this, because I was finally enjoying vacuuming for once, and my house seemed so much fresher already.
